New ELAL iPhone app - out now!
Finally there is a decent LY iPhone app instead of the stupid FlyTLV thing....
You can check your points, activity history, and even a nice tool to calculate how many Matmid points you would get when transferring CC points based on type of card etc...
It's an OK app, could do with showing list of upcoming flight which hopefully they will add, but what I don't get is why on earth you have to download a completely seperate app for check in...

You have to download a separate app for check-in?! Which app? Or do they have 2??
Time to come out with a BlackBerry and Android app. And a mobile site as well!

They actually now have three separate app, the FlyTLV one, the ElAl one, and the ElAl check in one, very odd.

I don't have an issue with people quoting just the relevant part of a post when replying, even if they are first to reply, like I don't have an issue with people quoting an entire post if it's a short one.
What annoyes me is people quoting long posts, being too lazy to edit the relevant part, and yes, especially when they are first to reply.

I like that this whole post focused on posting ethics on not on the issue at hand. Why does LY have 3 apps? And what is the FlyTLV app? And do they have anything for BlackBerry or Android? And do they have a mobile site yet that I just haven't found?

FlyTLV is for checking schedules.
Basically the new app is mainly to check your Matmid details etc but click on schedules and it takes you to the FlyTLV app, and click on Check in and it will take you to the check in app.
You have to of course download all three.

A mobile site is indeed overdue and so easy to do I don't get why they haven’t done it yet.
An iPad site would be nice but not as essential (unlike an iPhone app).
Edited to add: Talking of Ipad apps and slightly OT but I love LH's new app.

New update out today and you can now book flights too...
However, the ability to log into your Matmid account (which worked fine before) as well as many other features of the app are greyed out.
Oh, and the English as bad as ever...

By the way, don't get me wrong, I think it's great one can now book through the app because on a number of occasions I've tried pricing up flights on my iPhone through your normal website, which was always a pain.
However I don't understand why the option to log in (as well as other features) are grayed out? Why launch the new app if it's not fully functioning yet?
