Exclamation 12/11 EL-AL Departure Time Shift due to Supreme Court Order...

Due to the superme court decision, regarding closing TLV for flights between
2am to 5am the following 12/11 flights schedule of EL-AL were modified...

Des. Date Flight New Dep. Orig Dep.
CDG 12NOV LY319 01:20 02:45
MAD 12NOV LY395 01:20 03:30
LTN 12NOV LY213 01:20 03:30
MRS 12NOV LY321 04:40 03:40
AMS 12NOV LY337 04:40 03:40
BRU 12NOV LY331 04:40 04:30
BCN 12NOV LY393 04:40 04:30

I dont know if this will affect all other flights from the 12/11 or only the 12/11 ones...

And yes, I am aware some flights set to 04:40 although the decision was done to 05:00am...

Have a safe flight...,

I take it to mean that no take offs or landings between 2am & 5am

the 4:40am flights are the times the flights should be leaving their Gates and then they will taxi and wait till 5am before heading down the runway for a 5am+ take off = complying with the curfew times

if they leave their Gates at 5am it will be closerto 5:30am till they will actually be taking off

What ciurt decision was this, has it got to do with the runaway works?

Wasn't ELAL supposed to be allowed to depart on Fridays early as they have to be back for shabbos, or is this what the court has now banned?

When did this actually go into effect? I thought this had already been the case, or at least the status quo...

jc, why were they banned? Noise?

It never ceases to amaze me that most of the people who complain about airport noise are people who MOVED to the area AFTER the airport existed. They also usually got good prices when they purchased their homes because it was in the vicinity of an airport. BTW this isn't only in Israel but all over the US too. ( and probably all over the world.
