hat I like about LY 767 in Y is the roominess and comfort of the seats compared to others (787 is just not as comfy 9-abreast). They're actually quite comfortable. Also, lack of equipment box means your feet have somewhere to go. I dislike the fact that the seat in front of you can recline into your knees, the tiny overhead bins, and lack of outlets. I don't care about the lack of IFE as I bring my own.

In C, I hate it and would love the 787 in comparison.
couldn't agree more.

TUS to stop flights from Haifa after October 16. Due to 8pm airport closure, high fees, and problems when incoming passengers are rejected for entry by Israel.

Too bad. It's time the government started supporting haifa more.

Transavia is adding a second daily flight from AMS to TLV on Saturdays for the whole summer season starting March 31 2018.

Additionally, Transavia will operate a second daily flight AMS-TLV on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Thursday March 29 to Tuesday April 24. I do not really see the logic of those second daily flights on Tuesdays and Thursday except for the period right before and after Pesach/Easter as Pesach and Easter falls on almost same date in 2018. Pesach starts at sundown of Friday March 30th and Easter starts Sunday April 1st, so I see the need for extra flights right before and after Pesach/Easter however I do not understand the need for extra flights on April 10, 12, 17, 19 and 24?

Furthermore, Transavia is also adding a second daily flight from AMS to TLV on Wednesdays in specific peak-periods only (July 11 - August 29 and October 3 - October 31).

Besides that Transavia is also adding a weekly frequency on EIN-TLV services resulting in 3 weekly frequencies to TLV from EIN on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This is the first time that Transavia is having almost a double daily service to TLV from the Netherlands in specific peak-periods which is an incredible increase from 2015 when Transavia started its AMS-TLV services with just 3 weekly flights.

777-200 in sardine configuration.
One Mile at a Time - Ukraine International Airlines Is Getting 777s

These are pretty dense 777-200s, with 21 business class seats and 319 economy class seats. Based on the seatmap, it looks like business class consists of three rows, in a 2-3-2 configuration. While I don’t love the middle seat in business class, here’s to hoping it’s an all around better business class product than what they have now.

Even though the configuration will be 3-4-3 in economy, that might actually still be more spacious than the 2-4-2 configuration they have on their 767s.

The most interesting thing about this is its arrival time. For those of us who regularly fly home to TLV from Europe and want an afternoon departure that gets us home by midnight, this will make for good and cheap connections from MUC, DUS, ARN, HEL, etc. Not ideal as many of these have a longer layover than I'd like at KBP but still better than some of the alternatives. If only they had a late afternoon departure from London connecting to this!

Indeed, however they will only be operating one daily flight (IB3320/1 has been zeroed out).

Yes, this change messed up some of my future reservations; not sure I like it. They are using the A330-200 version, namely without the new Premium Economy cabin.

The new flight has much better timing out of MAD for connections (4:45PM), but I much prefer to have a wider choice of timings...
