EasyJet seating guide

One of the benefits of EasyJet operating a streamlined fleet of aircraft is that there are very few aircraft types or cabin layouts to contend with.

I have produced a set of cabin layout plans, each checked using several control points along the length of the cabin for accuracy, which show the seat positions relative to window locations so you can see exactly where the window blanks are located.

Airbus A319
A single Economy Class cabin accommodating 156 Recaro SL3510 slimline seats. Some aircraft are fitted with older Weber AI-1000 seats

https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f375753b9d.png

Seat width: 17.7"

Seat pitch:
Rows 2-9: 28.5"
Rows 10-11: 35"
Rows 12-26: 28.5"

Front row seats offer additional legroom
The seat backs are fixed and do not recline

Airbus A320ceo and A320neo
A single Economy Class cabin accommodating 186 Recaro SL3510 slimline seats

https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4700795383.png

Seat width: 17.7"

Seat pitch:
Rows 2-11: 29"
Rows 12-13: 35"
Rows 14-31: 29"

Front row seats offer additional legroom
The seat backs are fixed and do not recline

Airbus A321neo
A single Economy Class cabin accommodating 235 Recaro SL3510 slimline seats

https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...cb19bfaf96.png

Seat width: 17.7"

Seat pitch:
Rows 2-17 ABC: 28.5"
Rows 3-17 DEF: 29"
Rows 18-19: 35"
Rows 20-28: 28.5"
Rows 30-40: 28"

Front row seats and seats at row 29 offer additional legroom
The seat backs are fixed and do not recline

I hope these are of use to you and please use this thread to post any seating questions and/or recommendations.

These are brilliant. Thank you for taking the time and effort to put these together.

It looks like all variants have the screen in front of 1ABC. Is that the case? Is there much legroom in Row 1? (particularly thinking about the A320) Would the overwing exit rows be a better choice for legroom?

My take is that Row 1 is fine for knee room, but if you want to stretch your legsI'd recommend the exit rows, as you can tuck your feet under the seat in front. The bulkhead prevents you from doing this in Row 1.

I'm 6'8"/2m+ and I'll happily sit in row 1 for a 1-1.5hr flight; longer than that I'll opt for exits.

Hello - I know that some EZY aircraft have the flimsy bulkhead dividers in front of 1ABC, and others do not. But I haven't worked out how to know this in advance from seat maps! Can anyone help please?

I'm a plus member, but one who currently avoids 1ABC due to the possibility of there being no divider and boarding being a pretty uncomfortable experience.

Thanks!

it is the A319 fleet that do not have a bulkhead partition ahead of 1ABC.

Is it worth £10.50 for exit row on LTN - INV?

Flight is a couple weeks out and right now have the entire row to myself (free seat with the bundle that includes a hold bag).

I usually prefer exit rows due to height but if I had the whole row to myself (or an empty middle) which seems like a strong possibility, that's just a good as an exit row

EasyJet seating can change quickly, it is unusual to get a full empty row on EasyJet.

If you think a tenner is worth it then don't hold back on the off-chance you don't get a seat neighbour.

Flew this route recently and the flight was 95% full so I wouldn't count on the empty row staying empty

I believe the three A320s (G-UJEA, B and C) snatched up from the order of a failed Colombian carrier are also free of the partition. Though as they've been in the fleet for over two years a bulkhead might have been fitted.

My bum has yet to settle into seat on one of these aircraft, but maybe somebody else can verify the bulkhead situation.

As for an row shown as empty remaining empty ...... it'd possible, but unlikely.
