easyjet - checked luggage...one way

Hi,

I am in the process to book a flight (R/T) with U2, two pax.
We would need two carry-on luggages, and of course no problem, here, and then one check luggage for the outbound flight, and a two luggages for the return leg.
During the booking, it seems that I can book the luggage for the whole trip, but not for the return letg only.
Shall I book the second luggage only after I flew the outbound leg?

Thanks

Just book all the legs separately, the fare price shouldn't change.

Pretty sure the fare does change as you'll have to pay the admin fee multiple times.

I can confirm. I was looking at one-way fares today and accidentally did a search for a round trip, and the prices were all lower.

Very much so. There's no more LCCs as they used to be :D

Yes, that's how to do it - add the extra (second) bag for the return leg after you have flown the outbound leg.

After booking the return as one transaction, just call them up and ask to pay for the single segment luggage over the phone. I've done this a few times without problem (I book my flights 10+ segments at a time).

In theory there is a higher fee for this, but as you can't do this online, Easyjet don't charge more than the standard online fee for one segment of luggage.

Alternatively, add the additional baggage online after having flown the outward leg?
