Easyjet luggage fee for two flights
This isn't the typical easyjet luggage fee question. I booked two flights on easyjet, one from Rome to Venice and the second from Venice to Paris. We are spending two nights in Venice, so it's not like we have a brief stop in Venice.
I prepaid for two pieces of luggage on the itinerary (one for each passenger). At first I wasn't sure if I needed to purchase 4 pieces since we have two flight segments, but I went ahead with just the 2. Keep in mind that both flights were on the same booking reservation. On my confirmation email, it says "2 Checked bags per flight between all passengers combined up to a total combined weight of 40kg." I just want to confirm that the prepaid luggage will cover both flight segments. I would have thought that I would need to pay for the luggage on both flights, but from the email, it appears it covers both. I sent an email to easyjet customer service but never heard back from them. Can anyone verify if the luggage fee is valid for both of my flights? Thanks. |

Doesn't matter if they are on the same PNR. Each segment separate. |
Easyjet customer service finally replied to my email. In case anyone else runs into the same question, this is what they said:
"I would like to confirm that the luggage fee covers both flight segments." I'm not sure if it is because I booked both flights on the same PNR or if because Venice is both the arriving and departure city, I only have to pay for the luggage fee once. So their automated email that I received is correct that when I paid for 2 pieces of luggage, I am allowed to have 2 luggage on both segments. |
