After hearing such horrendous things about the Hertz TPA location, I decided I would use a flyertalk discount code, giving me 50% off. Fantastic. However there were no minivans available according to the internet. After calling dollar, I was told it would not be possible to get one and getting one on the spot would be impossible. Well, I arrived at the desk with no line and friendly service. In addition to our initial discount, I was given a half price upgrade to a variety of vehicles. Initially, the agent wanted to give me an upgrade to an outback or a Santa Fe, but I was really set on a van. After inquiring he found a brand new grand caravan se which suited our needs perfectly. For 10 bucks a day extra, I got a nice big and comfy van. Surprisingly, no pressured sales of fuel and insurance, which is always welcomed. Two thumbs up to Dollar TPA!:D
