How long are miles taking to post currently?

I've seen threads from 2001 and 2005 but nothing recent.

I paid the frequent flyer surcharge and I see my Southwest number on my rez. So it all looks good. How long is this going to take?

Thanks!

Agreed. Just a few days, or a week at most in my experience. Most of my rentals are with Dollar.

I wish I could say the same about points I earn at hotels...

Had a rental that ended 2/21/2015 that still hasn't posted.

Hmmm that's annoying!

I'm taking a rental in two days; I'll have to watch close and see exactly when it posts.

Still no miles. I wrote to them and got this form response:

"Thank you for the opportunity to process your request, miles/points
should appear on one of your next two statements.
(The partner reserve the right to post miles according to their program
agreement terms)

Thank you for choosing Dollar Rent A Car!"

Unacceptable. Why pay an upcharge for something you don't reliably receive?
