Is dollar.com as bad for everyone?
 
I made reservations on dollar.com, using my Dollar Express membership #. My reservations still don't show up on my account page when I log in, several days later.

And when I've cancelled reservations on the website it takes a couple of days for them to be removed from my "pending" reservations. Isn't the technology available much more advanced than what I'm seeing on dollar.com?

Very interesting .... I've never had either of those problems but, then again, I haven't rented from Dollar in "quite a while" (i.e. 4 rentals in 2012 with lots of cancellations and re-bookings for better pricing but no 2013 rentals).

Hope they haven't created a "new and improved" system like Alamo's. Used to rent from Alamo quite often but since they implemented their latest and greatest reservation software, I've quite trying ....

I rent almost exclusively from Dollar, always using dollar.com at least 10 times a year and I never have had any of these problems that you have.

My conformation always come through within a few minutes and if I have to cancel the reservation the cancellation also comes through within minutes so maybe there is some blocker or possibly a virus in your computer causing these problems.

Thanks for your input. But, I'm not having a problem receiving confirmation or cancellation emails from dollar.

The problem is on dollar.com when I look at my Dollar Express page. On that page my current reservations and activity is listed. New reservations and cancellations take up to several days to appear or disappear from this page, even with logging in and out.
