Seating Help

Are the armrests in an American Airlines MD80 all models adjustable. I have to fly to vegas and i am a big dude and need some comfort.
THanks.

Adjustable, as in can they be raised? Or adjustable as in can they be moved laterally?

Sorry i should have made it more clear. I wanted to know if the armrests for either of the seats whether it be the aisle or the center armrest are able to be raised.
Thanks

You might have more luck posting your question on the American Airlines thread. They are more familiar with the planes.

I wonder if all American MD-80's have the same number and same locations for the moveable armrests on the aisle? However, I don't think those can be left up during the flight for comfort. I think those are just to make it easier to transfer from aisle-wheelchairs.
