Unhappy How airline strikes affect disabled passengers

Flew from Charles De Gaulle yesterday with 90 year old passenger.
Due to strike with Air France- there was no wheelchair assistance- I had to make my way thru airport, with borrowed chair.

This 90 year old has been flying with air france for over 40 years- how sad or what.

Why wasn't there wheelchair service? I thought that was provided by the airport in the EU and not by the airline.
