Transfer LHR to Stnasted--best way for handicap
Hello all:
Loved ones are traveling agin. BA to LHR T5 transferring to Stansted airport. What are your recommendations avoiding stairs in the train stations, or do you have the contact for taxi/limo service. Is there any direct bus links that you know of? Will be staying at Hilton Hotel Stansted do you think they have a pick up at LHR?
Thank you for your help!

There is no Hilton shuttle from LHR to their Stansted Airport property.
The National Express 717, 727 and 797 services depart from the Arrivals level - stops 13-16 - and go to Stansted Airport via various en-route stops. http://www.heathrow.com/file_source/..._Coach_Map.gif
You can look up times and prices here - http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach...es-and-coaches
You will arrive in the Coach Park, in front of the main terminal, and will not need to go into the terminal to get the shuttle to the Hilton. However if you go to Bay 27 you will be able to board the shuttle and pay the fee directly to the driver. This is all level ground, granted often full of other travellers and exposed to the elements so an umbrella or raincoat might be helpful.http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/uni...ons/index.html
I do hope that helps ... and although it sounds complicated, once you've worked out the timings and got the tickets etc, it's all straightforward with no steps (except on to the coach itself).
Bon voyage.
