I would be really jazzed if either of the presidential candidates popped into this place to shake hands and do some cheesy photo ops. I mean, PA is a battleground state, right? ;)

Looks like one doesn't have to ask the question, "where's the beef?" for this burger!

I have an aversion to tomatoes unfortunately- I love salsa, but can't stand raw tomatoes... have to remove them if on a sandwich or burger- go figure... |

So do I... I've been living on bird feed since February.
A good burger every once in a while is really welcome! --Russ

That much food may feed a family in Africa for weeks. In their dreams. If ever there was a sad contrast, the 15lb hamburger, during a world food crisis. |

A good burger - that is gut-busting enormous - couldn't be good AND a good price. Surely.

But a DO at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub for some monster burgers (even if people pay way too much than is reasonable and end up only eating a fraction of it, which is not recommended or healthy for that matter) is a perfect excuse for a DO. With all due respect, if you want to help families in Africa, feel free to suggest an African DO... surely that will help out local economy. --Russ |
15 pound burger....that's disgusting. Any more than 8 oz of burger and it's more than one meal. That goes for all meat (steak, chicken, whatever). Because usually along with the 8oz comes another 8oz of bread, roasted veg, potato, salad, sautéed mushrooms, whatever). And then dessert. Mmm I want cake now.

I'll order this type of burger when I have my next gettogether.
1 burger for 15 people? |

You've got Le Tub in Ft. Lauderdale that serves some pretty juicy burgers. Reminded me of my local Cubby's in Jersey... but still nowhere near the 15 lb-er --Russ |

I will ketchup to this thread at a later date to see if I am wrong and that this thread really does cut the mustard, although I do not want to be embroiled in any controversy. I am on a roll here and could add more, but I will save some of the fun for others to opine and get themselves in a pickle if they so choose, so lettuce commence... |
