Combel-La-Serre Cahors 'Pur Fruit de Causse' for a budget option. $12 a bottle-ish and it's a completely different style than the South American Malbecs that are well known. Soft, not as much fruit, more earth. Think Burgundy is to Russian River as Cahors is to Mendoza.

Are these the latest 12 you're trying to get buyers interested in? It's hard to know where to go. |

Out of curiosity, what does it cost currently to ship a case or three to the US? Is there a sweet spot?
I imagine there's good stuff that's not exported - just wondering if it's cost feasible to have it shipped. |
Time to revive this thread....... :D

9500 ARS in most better wine shops in Buenos Aires
9500 ARS in most better wine shops in Buenos Aires, Can be found at Vinoteca Mr. Wines His curiosity goes beyond his native Mendoza, and that is why he dreams of working in different parts of the country. In fact, the Irracional 2019 is about to come out, a Malbec with a little bit of Cabernet Franc de Barreal, that wonderful place in the Calingasta Valley, in San Juan. "I really like Barreal. It is a very interesting area with soil and climate conditions that deliver different wines, with many possibilities to continue growing and with people who have been working very well. Irrational is a wine with a lot of fruit intensity, robust and at the same time with a lot of freshness," says Daniel.
