Apple Schnapps?

(MODS, If this is inappropriate, please let me know by PM)

I purchased some small bottles of apple schnapps the last time I was by HKG. So far I've searched on the web for any recipes for schnapps but have turned up empty. Is there any drinks that can be mixed using apple schnapps?

Fuzio (a local SF chain) makes an Apple martini with Smirnoff citrus vodka and apple liqueur garnished with a very thin slice of green apple.

While not my taste, they're fairly popular.

Is it a sour apple schnapp or regular? For shots, the sour apple can be mixed with Crown Royal to make a washington apple, or I believe with butterscotch schnappes for a caramel apple. Have fun.

The thevirtualbar.com -- if you search by ingredient, you can select apple schnapps and pull up 71 recipies (allegedly, anyway). This was one of my favorite websites back in college... best thing about it was that there was no virtual bouncer to card me. ;)

No, but if you'll throw the bilgewater away, go out and buy a good Calvados, and learn to drink it after dinner with a tart apple and some nuts or alongside a fine cup of coffee, you will have contributed to civilization and your own reputation asa good fellow.

Adding a small bit of apple schnapps to vodka is always good.

I take 1 part Apple Shnapps, and 1 part Vodka for a Apple Martini, or 1 part apple shnapps, 1 part vodka, and 1 part butterscotch schnapps for a carmel apple martini. Either way, they'll knock you on your butt.

Searching Webtender should point you in the right direction.

My mother uses peach schnapps to make hot toddies. I imagine you could do the same with apple schnapps.
