Historically have prized Grey Goose, though recent adventures have seen me opting for Ketel One.

Also -- not a fan of flavored vodka. If you want the flavor, add the rind as blenz suggested. If that's enough, you're better off getting a proper cocktail.

Zubrowka (should have a picture of a bison on the front and a leaf inside) + apple juice. :-:

You have to drink it with apple juice as it's a great combo. Have rarely seen any alcohol and a specific juice that are such a perfect fit. ^

I have always been a Grey Goose guy...recently I tried Chopin and haven't turned back to Grey Goose since.

Used to always buy Stoli until I discovered Wyborowa on a trip to Poland. I think it tastes just as good for about half the price.

If you guys like Chopin (nice, upscale brand) and Wyborowa (always a good choice) then you should also give Belvedere a look. I think they were once made - or maybe still are - by the same company that produces Chopin Vodka.

+1 ^

As for other vodkas, I like Costco's house brand, Kirkland Signature. It is made by the Grey Goose distillery and a 1.75 L bottle is half the price of Grey Goose.

Ditto on the Chopin. Their rye vodka (not available in the US, AFAIK) is also excellent.

That's for "clear" vodkas.

My fave flavored is Żubrówka, with the bison grass. Żubrówka with fresh apple juice is absolutely divine.

I'm a big fan of Absolut Mango as well. In fact, having some right now. :D

That's the one, and you can even find a bottle at the duty free shops at Bali airport. :)

As for Absolute Mango, I'll have to give it a go. ^

Jean Marc XO. Outstanding.

Crystal Head recently replaced Chopin as my favorite premium/sipping vodka. Don't let the awesome bottle fool you (positively or negatively) -- it really is super-smooth. I did the blind taste test versus Chopin at the bar the first time I tried Crystal Head. Vodka Gibson is my martini of choice, btw.

If you dig the Crystal Head bottle, be on the lookout for the holiday gift set, which includes two skull shot glasses. I scored a set at Sam's Club last week.

My favorite bloody mary vodka is Bakon. Yep, it's bacon flavored. Made in Seattle, and the flavor it adds to bloody marys will knock your socks off. Bakon's a little harder to find, but you can buy it over the internet.

My other fave mixed vodka drink is Redbull and cherry vodka. I'm not too picky about the vodka brand for that drink, as long as it's cherry flavored. And as far as I'm aware, Popov and Gilbey's don't come in cherry versions :D

If they have neither, I will succumb to Grey Goose and tonic !

+1 for Ciroc

took a long time for someone to post it but that stuff chilled makes a great sipping drink.

Crystal Head is surprisingly good. On par with Standard Platinum, imho. Which is high praise (making it better than Grey Goose, Belvedere, etc.). I bought it strictly for the bottle (which looks much better with my nice red concoction in it; drinking the vodka was a hard chore, but someone had to do it). It is produced in Newfoundland (famous for screech, but not making any of the ingredients of vodka except for water). Shows what high tech filtering can accomplish; purity is everything.

I'll definitely be on the look out for that one! Unfortunately I live in Ontario, so unless I can get it at the Duty Free, there'll be no Crystal Head vodka for me :(

Russian Standard, hands down, if the discussion is limited to vodkas with reasonably wide availability.
