It maybe the way the store presents it, I found the sandwich very messy and greasy. Also, I could only finish half as it was overloaded with lettuce and both fresh slivered and fried onions. It wasn't as pictured on the ads with sauce only on the top, I couldn't even finish a Double QPC, but loved the Super Mac that was presented a few years ago with QPC patties on a Big Mac bun. BTW, anytime I eat a Big Mac, I take off the top bun, and flip the middle so that the middle bun becomes the top and the meats are together like a Double Cheeseburger.

I just don't eat much McD's with the exception of the McRib as it was the major diet change I made in my 30 lb. weight loss since January 2025.

I love a big mac and I rarely indulge. Last night I made massive faux pas. I had an appointment in the evening which was right next to a McDonalds. All day I was dreaming of my dinner. Pick up a big mac and fries before heading home. Yum!
I get home, pour a glass of wine, dump the fires on a plate, unbox the big mac to plate, and I notice it looks a bit strange. Lift the top bun, no meat!!, bottom bun, no meat!! Ugh, they screwed it up!...then I look at the receipt stuck to the bag, and it says big mac no meat. What! Pull up the app, and sure enough, it was me who screwed up. Somehow, I ordered a big mac without meat! I chalk this up to my recent laser eye surgery from which I'm still recovering so vision blurry a bit.

I was so choked!

:D so basically you ordered bread with pickles and sauce? Hilarious. Was there cheese at least?

Not just sauce, but "special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun!" 🎼

Yup this!

But what shocked me was that between the top bun and the middle bun there was nothing. Bone dry bread on bread. I've never dissected a big mac before, is it just dry meat between the two top breads?

The sad thing is I ate this monstrosity, just tossed the top bun away. Saddest meal of my life that I can recall.... and now that I've typed that out, I can look on the other side and be thankful to have had that whereas others have less.

So no cheese?!

I'd be willing to bet not many people order a big mac with no meat. They must have been howling when they packed that order...."hey guys, check this out. Somebody is paying $6 for a bun with sauce, pickles & onions " 😂😂

It's so strange how easy it was to pick. I didn't do any random clicking around the app. It was a promo that I've done in the past on Canuck game days. $4 for big mac, quarter pounder, fish, etc.

I've eaten Big Arch about 5 times since launch and every subsequent time has been more disappointing. The first time was shockingly good and then its been meh ever since. I guess it doesn't have the staying power of a burger like double double from In N Out

At least it was only $4. You could have paid full whack for a sauce sandwich.

How difficult is it, if it is even possible, to upload a United Airlines (UA) meal voucher to the McDonald's app?

My redemption levels has not reset. Is this possibly a regional rollout for differing redemption values?

I redeemed 6000 points for a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit since I had points expiring 5/1
