new to area need romantic atmosphere for special evening. we'll be dressed formally in floor length simple gown and military dress blue uniform. somewhere with dancing would be extra great!

You don't mention how old you are, but if you are looking for a formal, traditional-type "fancy romantic" restaurant you might check out Arthur's, in the Union Station Hotel downtown. http://www.arthursrestaurant.com/

I can't think of any good restaurant where dancing is available.

I also can't think of any restaurant in Nashville that would have dancing that's nice...Wild Boar and Arthur's are good choices.

One excellent restaurant is Capitol Grille in the Hermitage Hotel...I *think* it's Nashville's only 5 star restaurant..or 5 star hotel..or something. Regardless, it's an excellent place for a special night!

Stockyard is GREAT - then you can go down to Broadway and dance at the WIld Horse or any of the Honkytonks lining the street.
