Seafood buffet in LA?
 

Will be spending some time in the LA area. Anyone know of a good seafood buffet restaurant in the LA area? Had seafood buffet at the Rio in Vegas but was very disappointed.

Depends on what type of seafood. If you're into sushi, a lot of people like "Todai," which has several locations. I personally like "Onami" better... the best one is in Torrance.

It's late, and I can't come up with any Rio-type seafood buffet. I'll get back to you.

If going to Todai, I don't recommend the one in Arcadia (inside Santa Anita Mall). They have slipped big time especially compared with the Puente Hills location.

There are as many seafood / Asian buffets in LA as there are McDonald's. Just keep driving. My favorites are Todai's in Anaheim, Huntington Beach, and Santa Monica.

I live so close to the one in Arcadia that I visit Todia once every other month or so.Pretty strange that this(and the one in Glendale-which is smaller and worse quality wise)are so mediocre.
The only other one I have been to in Beverly Center-much better and much busier/
I will have to check out the other ones.
Please note that these are mostly sushi/japanese/korean food.

It's been over a year and a half since I've been to Khoury's in Long Beach. All you can eat whole lobsters, crab legs, and other seafood items. Definitely not as big as Rio's Seafood buffet but the quality was better than Rio. Weekends only and highly recommend reservations.
