Hutong or Spring Moon in HKG?
 

Which one do you think is the best for a dinner- I am just going with a friend, so no need for a 'romantic' feel to the place. As I am just heading to HKG for the weekend, I would rather not pack a suit :)

It will be for the July 1 holiday, so reservations have of course been made, but I should cancel one of them, so that others can get in....

It depends on what you are looking for. Hutong has an amazing view and good food. Spring Moon has great food but no view at all. For taste of the food, my preference is actually Tang Court which is also in the area.

I ate at Spring Moon about two weeks ago, and found it to be one of my favorite meals of the entire trip. Very fresh, interesting food. We had a great crispy Chicken (I cannot recall the name, but it was wonderful) Nice decor and staff. As already mentioned, there is no view.
