Meeting spot (drinks?nibbles?) Paris

Will be in Paris this summer for an international meeting this June. Looking to organize an weekday evening get together for the American contingent. I assume everyone will already have had dinner, so maybe a place for drinks (& maybe snacks?). There is a large age range, so no place super trendy.

I am staying at the Hilton Paris, so of course it would be convenient for me if it was close by.... but not a requirement of course.

You didn't mention how many people, but the bar at the Hilton is pleasant for a smaller group - perhaps 10-12.

How about Harry's, the quintessential Paris Bar. Check out http://www.worldsbestbars.com/city/p...-bar-paris.htm which has bar reviews!

I sent my husband to Harry's while I shopped one afternoon, it turned out to be a good call. He was happy as a clam, in fact, when I showed up to get him he didn't want to leave.

Another great classic spot is the Hemingway Bar at the Ritz. See more info. at http://www.worldsbestbars.com/city/p...-bar-paris.htm

You can research a number of Paris bars at the above website. Good luck with choosing!

I completely agree. The bar at the Hilton is superb for a small group.

To be honest, not sure how many people will attend. I would guess less than 20.

I LOVE the Hemingway bar at the Ritz - great choice! Especially if you're not paying...

It's kindof trendy, but not too much - definitely modern & a smaller, more intimate space for your group - the bar at the back of the Park Hyatt.
