Dinner During Papeete Layover

We have a five hour layover in Papeete on our way back to Honolulu.

ANy dinner suggestions?

Boy...looks like they don't have any food in Papeete...good thing it is just a layover.

With this group I can't imagine that there are no suggestions.

The problem is that food in PPT is known to be rather poor, and overpriced. Perhaps a hotel dining room? But I have heard horrid things about the Meridien. Maybe the new Radisson? When are you going? I will be returning from PPT on 15DEC and might be able to give you suggestions then.

What time do you arrive in PPT? (This actually matters for the answer to your question.)

We arrive from Bora Bora at about 7 p.m. on 12/4. The flight to HNL is at 1 a.m.

Had thought about the dinner and show at the Intercontinental, staying there overnight on the way down the week before, but dinner starts at 7 so I am not sure that would work out.

Thanks!
