Has Anyone Dined at Vu, Hyatt, Jersey City?
 

I'm thinking about entertaining clients at Vu, Hyatt Regency, Jersey City. Can any FTers share their experiences? Thanks.

Tonight's the night. I'll answer my own question and share my observations with ya'll.

Sorry, didn't see the post earlier. Food is very good and the vu is one of the best. We found the staff to be exceptional. When we asked for a table (without reservations) we were told apologetically that it would be a 10 min. wait, but that the drinks in the bar would be comped. If any one is daring, (maybe 3 or 4) try the Chocolate Skyline for dessert. It is at least 12 inches high. Enjoy your dinner and sorry again.

Lower Manhattan/harbor view and menu prices are five-star. Food is an uneven four-star: exceptional salad, darn good crab cakes, and overcooked ahi tuna main course. Service is four-star: enthusiastic, but lacking polish. But the views!!!!! The dining room validates free parking under three hours. All in all, a favorable experience. Now, if I could only find a more direct driving route from major highways.
