Free Zagat Guide for the DC Area
 

I know crossposting is bad, but I wasn't sure if everyone who reads this forum also reads SPAM. I've provided a link in this thread for a free copy of the Zagat Guide for the DC area - just fill out the survey...

Seems tobe standard practice. I fill out the survey for Paris, London, NYC, DC, and So. FLA. Get each guide for free. Just have to find when the survey is active.

Speaking of DC...

I ended up staying at the Tyson's Ritz Carlton on Wednesday and in a fit of laziness decided to eat at the hotel with an associate instead of going downtown. I had heard Maestro was good, but I wasnt expecting too much.

Well...I was blown away. As someone who tries to seek out the best in each city I go to (if my wallet can take it, that is), this spot deserves a place with the best in the country. The menu is an artisitc masterpiece, the decor has an open kitchen that is designed the right way, and the service is strong.

Maestro is about as good as the DC area dining experience gets. I think it blows the socks off of l'auberge, which is the other N VA big night out.

Maestro is the best in DC, IMHO, period. Citronelle is hit or miss, though when it's on is as good. Inn at Little Washington may be better but is 70 miles away. Galileo and Kinkead's aren't in the same league.

The best brunch of my life was at Maestro!!

Glad to hear that you liked it...both that Executive Chef and Pastry Chef are really well known..it is always written up on the Washingtonians best restaurants

Brunch, while in the same dining room as dinner, is put on by a completely different staff. And that staff doesn't even cook in the Maestro kitchen.

I did the Zagat guide survey for DC. No Zagat guide has appeared. I presume I was just scammed into fiving my personal data.
