do all dining delivery services suck?
 

They're certainly appealing. Go online. Order some food from a regular real restaurant and get it shortly thereafter.

In my experience however these services generally suffer from one or more of the following:

Slow service. Order at 7pm get your food at 8:30.

Cold food. Order at 7pm and get cold food at 8:30.

Rude people. Order doesn't go through and the lady on the phone gives you attitude. Or you place an order online and you call 30 minutes later to see what's up and they say "oh that restaurant's closed."


So, does dining delivery suck in your area too? Or is it just Washington, DC?
