Any good restaurants in DC
I just moved to Washington DC recently and was wondering what restaurants are really good here. I'm looking for middle of the road restaurants.. Nothing soo expensive, but it doesn't have to be dirt cheap either. I'm an American, Italian, Chinese, Brazilian, and Mexican Fan.. Let me know.. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to Flyertalk http://www.flyertalk.com/dining/ftdi...orum/smile.gif
Another person asked your question, see this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/dining/ftdi...ML/000155.html the thread basically instructs you to scroll down to the Mid-Atlantic forum where there have been many DC suggestions. Have fun and good eating. |
Welcome to DC. Check out Tyler Cowan's ethnic dining guide for a good run-down on hole-in-the-wall joints. For upscale and mod-scale the Washingtonian has 100-best and 100-best cheap eats lists.
You said Brazilian, so try The Grill from Ipanema just for the name. Andale and Case Atlantico have excellent latin fare. Jaleo for tapas - go with a group. DC isn't New York, but you won't starve. |

Welcome to Flyertalk, Louisiana Girl!
Unfortunately for your taste in Mexican food, there is no good Mexican food in Washington, DC. Tyler Cowen is a colleague of mine, so conflicts aside I really do recommend his suggestions for inexpensive ethnic food. |
