Check out the web site. What are you in the mood for? Mexicali Grill is a good mexican place if you're around Santa Clara.

While not generally a great restaurant town, especially the downtown area, I've dined at a number of restaurants in and around the convention center that are ok:

House of Siam - Thai, voted as one of the best in Silicon Valley - 408/295-3397

Emiles - Decent French food, though quite costly - 408/298-1960

Scott's Seafood - A small chain with a location in Newport Beach and San Francisco, fresh seafood, though costly - 408/971-1700

A.P. Stumps - American cuisine, a 4 star rated restaurant. Very good food, very much a San Francisco type wanna be establishment - 408/292-9928

Bella Mia - Good Italian food - 408/280-1993

Eulipia - American cuisine, another decent, creative restaurant - 408/280-6161

Rue de Paris - Good French food - 408/298-0704

Hope this helps!

This one's easy - A.P. Stump's, hands down. Be sure to order the corn and lobster souffle appetizer, and if you like scallops, get the scallops entree. If they have the lemon cake with raspberry syrup, that's your dessert.
