I love radishes. Are they just raw and drizzled with salt and oil? I would like to try and replicate this myself--I recently found some fleur de sel in my pantry and I bet this would be a perfect application for it.

Lunch: turkey breast, spicy cucumber salad from Spy C.
I have a few servings of the salad to last me a day or two. I plan on saving the sauce in a mason jar to use as a marinade in the future

Lunch today: this can was in a gift box I received from BV Jr #1 and his wife for Fathers Day. I delayed opening and eating due to travel, guests & COVID. Those things out of the way and on day 9 of a Whole 30, I used it to make lunch.
The label says “Alderwood smoked” and the smoke flavor was quite genuine - as opposed to smoke flavor added. It was dense and meaty and solid. Unfortunately, on the dry side and might have benefitted from the application of some mayonnaise. But overall, the best lunch I’ve eaten in the last 9 days.

Went back to Las Golondrinas last night with my son and nephew. Had the carrots, the Hilda, and six pork sandwiches with potato chips. Washed it down with dry sherry!

Breakfast: 1/4 watermelon, OJ, black coffee, another very sweet and juicy peach. At the grocery store, they are still hard. But I put them in a bowl with a ripening banana and voila, after 2 days, they are ripe, juicy and ready to eat. Four more in the fridge ready to go. I love summer fruit. I’m ready for some plums.
