I hate skin on fish and sometimes you can't find skinless. I need to try this...you spread the mayo on the skin, then cook and you can just pull the skin off? Wow...I love that.

Peel off the crispy skin and give a bit to your dog. It is "crack "when crispy for my dogs.

I give my neighbor dog bits of salmon all the time...I know dogs love it but I haven't tried giving them skin.

It is a bit of a myth that mayo causes food poisoning. There is enough acid in it (usually lemon juice) and acid slows down the growth of bacteria. Of course, I wouldn't let a sandwich sit in the sun all day but often other ingredients in the dish are the culprits.

Pretty sure I clearly mentioned the combination of mayo and other ingredients, and there is not enough acid in mayo to completely retard the growth of bacteria in improperly stored food which was what I was commenting on.

Just have the fish monger remove the skin if you don’t have a filet knife.

I put a little butter or oil under the salmon when I bake it, and cats go crazy over the fish skin.
