Do you remember the name or other details? Heading to Rome in a few months for the first time and would like to find a couple of good authentic restaurants.

For me it would be some kind of fish pie thing at the Edinburgh castle. My son and I still crave it. A close second would be several different locations throughout Ireland, Scotland and Britain where we had the most amazing fish and chips. All of the fresh veggies, fruits and honey throughout Europe as well.

I can recommend this one. It's a couple blocks from the Trevi fountain.

We blundered upon it on our way to the fountain. There was a couple peering through the windows at 10:30 in the morning before it opened. We engaged them in conversation and they told us friends had recommended it. We came back an hour later and had a short wait for a table.

It's pretty, not too badly located (get a window seat if possible), the food and wine are fresh and authentic and the prices were quite reasonable.

ABaC is a great restaurant much deserving of a better name. I did not get a spaghetti dish while there but I did, however, have parmesan gnocchi with mushroom, truffle, and walnuts which was amazing. The sweet corn taco with foie gras and vanilla sauce was also great.
