I've been doing okay-ish with the 50-point brewed coffee rewards, but I'm a "space renter" with a 2-venti-size limit (too much caffeine effect otherwise) and my typical visit is during hours where you can get any choice you want as long as it's Pike Place roast

Sometimes they do the targeted half-price offers for things like the frappuccinos and I'll get it then, but normally they're too pricey for me and bad health-wise anyway (too sugary). To this day I've never gotten any food.
The location I usually go to is one of their older and more established ones in the area. It's unusual in that it has 12 (old and well-used) lounge chairs that I'm worried they'll replace with something less comfortable. Am sure they regard the chairs as a magnet for non-revenue customers but they're also key for some of the paying ones.

I hate the new process, because I've never had a purchase approved, and most of the time, I buy my Starbucks packaged coffee at places that don't have registers that print the specific items purchased on the receipt.

CSRs are generous with points for any legitimate claims, IME. I'd say > 1/2 my points come from grocery store purchases these days.
