Bornholmske Rugkiks

HELP!

We sampled these amazing rye crackers in the food market in Copenhagen, and bought a single package after being assured we could source them in the states.

They're from Bornholm, Denmark, and are marketed as a family run operation.

I can find no source for these in the US and I'm addicted.

The Swedish near-equivalent may be easier to find in the US.

There probably is a Danish equivalent of this somewhere: http://www.swedenabroad.com/en-GB/Em.../Shop-Swedish/

I don't do IKEA (if I can help it), but they sell some Swedish food. And Tiger/Flying Tiger in NYC sells some Scandinavian stuff, including food.

Thanks. I did look around at IKEA the other day, but they really just stock huge mass-market stuff and these are artisanal.

I'll also investigate Swedish options.

This might be a long shot, but maybe try looking into World Market (Cost Plus in some states). They actually have a nice array of foods/snacks from around the world that you can't find anywhere else. I've had some luck there, and I hope you do too!

Why not e-mail the company and ask if they distribute to anyone in North America?
