I've got a friend who begs me to pick one up for his daughter every time I go anywhere. I didn't realize this was a thing.

I collect the Starbucks espresso cups (set of 2)!!

The look a lot cuter, but unfortunately they are not available in most countries!!

I wouldn't say I collect them. I buy the more interesting ones like Oman for instance.

My boss collects them. Most interesting ones he has is Amman, Jordan and Cambridge, Mass. Which because of Harvard has a separate mug then Boston.
Dunkin Donuts also sells destination mugs.

I collect them (current collection numbers around 40). Anytime I go to someplace new, I pick one up for me and one for my sister. I have ones from Bejing, Qatar, Paris, England among others. I use the Paris mug the most.

We used to, but then in some misinformed decision SB made them look very generic and non-distinctive, so we quit.

I expect to see them at the Starbucks in Peterborough station soon, as it seems to stock pretty much all of the UK & Ireland mugs, despite being nowhere near Belfast or Dublin...

I pick one up for the wife whenever I'm in a new country. Have about 8 of them now.

I have a dozen or so. Mix between the old ones and the newer "You Are Here" collection.

I am trying to resist starting a collection but I have so far given in twice and purchased the Chicago and Houston mugs. My wife has a handful of non-city specific Starbucks mugs too.

My civic pride is badly hurt by the fact that I live in apparently the largest Canadian city to not have its own Starbucks mug... we're stuck with the generic "CANADA" mugs. :(

Haven't they discontinued these mugs now?
