Does this give away our drinking-at-work policy?

:D:D That's fantastic. I actually met someone from Pabst at a networking event. Their business cards are shaped like PBR cans with the employee's information on one side and a picture of the can on the other.

I'm currently interning at a Bay area software company. There's monthly meetings with free beer, liquor and food. We also have had a few one off events with the same. (Such as someone being promoted). This is apparently quite normal out here.

Definitely not at my organization...and also since the head of the organization is not a drinker himself, he has decided that there will be no alcohol at any of the once-or-twice annual off-site organization social gatherings... :-0

Every office I've worked in (both in the US & UK) has always had 'Friday Drinks' where there is an informal get together with beer and wine with a few nibbles at 5 or 5:30. At my current office they do the same, but with the added benefit of a Liquor Cart... :D

When I get my own company I'm going to ban bras as I don't wear them.

And those companies headed down the crapper.

The two places I remember the most drinking were bankrupt within a year and a half of my arrival, and both knew where they were headed long before I got there.

I'm working and about to have a very nice G&T. It helps my creativity!

Regularly (except in the booze industries) is crazy. Occasionally, it makes for a much more harmonious workplace.

I work in a law firm where one of the partners keeps a fully stocked wine cellar in his office. It is rumored that he does this because his wife wouldn't let him have one at home.
