Malort?!
 
Be aware that anyone offering you a shot of Malort is not a friend, but rather a foe. I was duped into drinking this last night and can honestly say it was the worst taste I have ever experienced. It was described to me as a schnapps, but upon reading online it is a Swedish drink which is well known for being absolutely disgusting.
Consider yourself warned.

Hehehe - malört is Wormwood ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artemisia_absinthium).

Used to give taste to Swedish liqour type "Besk".

Not very pleasant taste no.

used to be a Chicago thing, but Malort is made elsewhere now.

Sage advice. Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but in any case it is a good idea. The shame is I have lived in chicago most of my life! but didn't know of this drink until Friday.
