Caviar! Had it for the first time as a kid when I flew KL F (dad's status got us there). Hated it. Got stink-eye from flight attendant when I didn't eat it. Now love the stuff...

Just thought of this one because I'm having one...everything bagels. I used to think they were vile but now they're often my first choice. It's an adventure see, you never know what the next bite will taste like!

Blue cheese, the smell almost turned my stomach as a child. Now, just the smell of a piece of Roquefort kept at room temperature for a day or two sends me to heaven. The taste even higher...

The child of fussy parents, I was exposed to so few foods as a child, that I can't think of anything that changed categories. My taste has broadened to include a vast number of items that were never offered to me as a kid. But I still dislike peas and lima beans. And the lima beans were served at a friend's house, they would never have made it to the table at my house.

Never liked chocolate as a kid (Hot chocolate is an exception), kim chi

Now, I try to eat chocolate as much as I can but not overdo it. (Only dark chocolate I tend to eat nowadays for its health benefits)

I like kim chi now as well.

Every time I've had trifle, I found it to be insubstantial.

Oatmeal and cottage cheese. Not together mind you. Just each separately I didn't like.

Most folks don't believe this, but those who were around know
it is true...

I hated ice cream when I was a kid. Could not stand the stuff... go figure!

Then I became an adult and embraced ice cream in all its goodness!

I thought of one: chicken drumsticks. They were too much like chicken parts with tendons and veins, etc. I was easily grossed out. Today, hot off the grill, dripping with barbeque sauce - mmmmmmmm.
