Eggs in the states that taste like anything?
I'm tired of eggs that taste like nothing. You put salt and pepper on them and they taste like...salt and pepper.
I'm really missing the tasty European eggs. Are there any eggs commonly available in the states that actually have flavor? |
Plenty of small producers in these parts. I would expect that if you go to a farmer's market in your area, you'll find one in your area, too. "Commonly available" (i.e., on a national scale) will generally result in an egg that tastes almost like your supermarket tomato.

I get my eggs from a place in the Shenandoah Valley, VA named Polyface Farm (polyfaceyum.com). You can find a local provider at eatwild.com or localharvest.org.

Where are we most likely to find restaurants that will serve good eggs? |
What in any country?

At home, I get my eggs from a local farmer instead of from the grocery store. And there definitely is a difference. |
