Putting the "fizz" back in your flat cola ?

is there a way to put the "Fizz" back in your can or bottle of cola?

I could say "the kids" always open one take a sip and walk away......but its really me...

So is there a way to Re-fizz ?

is it just CO2 ? can you put too much in ?

Just wondering as I found another "flat" can of Coke almost full :)

I would even buy a big CO2 bottle / regulator from a drinks fountain :)

Thanks for your ideas

Soda fountains cost thousands of dollars compared to the $2 for a 2 liter bottle of Coke at the local 7-11. But to each their own!

How about getting a soda stream?

They warn you not to carbonate anything other than water. I'd like to see it done though....

I just drink the damn things flat when they get that way. It actually helps when I just want the caffeine quickly and couldn't care less about the fizz.

How about using a soda siphon? That's sort of what the Soda Stream derives from before it went all highfalutin. Those are pretty simple devices.

Flat 7-UP has been my in-laws preferred method of medication for most ailments for decades.
To this day Mrs Showbizguru will still force it down our kids at the first sign of anything untoward.
But yet her mother is convinced Diet Coke causes cancer and the kids would be better off with the full fat version.
I've tried reasoning with them but when faced with simple country folk of Ireland it's a waste of time.

Never tried though... (comments not too positive either).
