Most Fanciest Restaurants in the World?

Has anyone seen photos of any super awesome restaurants?
I've come across Ithaa Undersea Restaurant which looks amazing! but was wondering if there where any others that stand out from the crowd?

Joel Robuchon in Paris.

Not the best, but the most fanciest.

Don't know about the most fanciest. Try figuera in São Paulo. Definitely one of the most beautiful restaurants you can see. Built around an antique. Figuera tree

Ithaa is indeed spectacular, though insanely expensive and the food isn't too good. Quite a few FTers will have gone there as it used to be the best use of HHonors points to go to the Conrad Rangali Island. Paradise.

"Fancy" suggests up-market and expensive. More interesting might be spectacular - a great view or interior. The first place that comes to mind is a small dining room about 1km into a Moldovan vinyard (Cojusna) carved out of the rock with a giant chandelier and giant chairs carved out of single pieces of wood.

I can't seem to find a high res photo, but this will give you a bit of an idea:

We enjoyed Τα Κιούπια (Ta Kioupia) in Rhodes, but it is subtly stunning and not vulgar / blingy.

It may not be the most fanciest ever, and I am completely biased, but the setting of the Panache in Quebec City is stunning. It feels homey and very cozy, and the view on the St. Lawrence River is just gorgeous. Some high-end restaurants tend to drop the ball when it comes to bathrooms, but the Panache's are perfect. There are certain aspects of the restaurant that I don't love, but it definitely qualifies as fancy to me!

Most "fanciest" restaurant unfortunately is closed indefinitely

Ferran Adria's el bulli

The place may not be the fanciest but you will be hard pressed to find better food or fancier food anywhere

Prices and difficulty to get a reservation Were legendary

My thought too. Was afraid I'd get my hand slapped by the mods for mentioning. :D

I stayed at the hotel and ate at the restaurant a few times a couple of months ago. It is a rather nice dining area.

Tru in Chicago?

Guy Savoy in Paris is not the mosy fancy. While the restaurant, food, and service are awesome, some of the other diners bring the fanciness down i.e. jeans and an untucked, wrinkly button down. To be fair, there was many people in suits also.

It's been a while since I've been there, but Lasserre in Paris is a wonderful treat. Ladies escorted to their table, special holders to hang your purse on, a roof that opens and a dinner that is an epicurean delight.
