World's Top 50 Most Expensive Wines

Price isn't the only way to judge a wine, but all of these choices are really, really, really good. As someone who lives in Burgundy, I've been lucky enough to try some of these. I can't say they are worth the price for most of us. If you have money to burn though, these are great choices.

Based upon those prices, DRC La Tache is a relative bargain.:D

I really love different kind of wines especially red wines and one of my dream is to taste and drink one those most expensive wines.

This seems like a silly list as it ignores vintages, which have massive effects on prices through quality, maturity and scarcity. Obviously aimed at the label-conscious, mix it with Coke market.

Having got that off my chest, I'd be happy to take a donation of any or all of them...

My in-laws live in Napa and partake in a lot of great (and expensive) wines... but my father-in-law favorite wine is still the $8 wine from Trader Joes. To each his own.
