The Blue Ox 2019 Sparking Rose of Carignan is chilling and to be opened in about 3 hours. No idea what else we will be drinking, which will be served by the owners of the patio where we can drink, at a distance, on a lovely and unseasonably pleasant Berkeley afternoon!

Speaking of sparkling, last night we had a cava from the Penedes; Cava Rabetllat i Vidal Private Family Reserve.

Outstanding with lobster.

Last night was a bottle of 2018 Domaine Nebout Vin de France 'L'Incompris du Tressallier'

Can't say I've ever had Tressallier before. It is a white grape from the Lwar. I bought a case. Yay.

Followed that with a 2014 Frick Counoise. Oh, that was drinking nicely.

Just finished off a bottle of 2017 Rutini Coleccion Cabernet Franc-Malbec. This is the latest release of the bi-varietal series from Rutini, the first time they have made a Cab Franc Malbec blend in this segment of their Portfolio. Well under $10 at current Peso to USD Exchange Rate... so AMAZING value for money.

A bottle of Fabrizio Vella bianco organico, a Sicilian blend of Navarratto and Nero d'Avolo. Wonderfully bright and fresh and a bargain at £9!

2017 Luigi Bosca Malbec with a chateaubriand. Our first meal out in 4 months and the wine and food were fantastic.

I just opened a Mansfield Dunne SLH Pinot Noir to enjoy alongside our roasted chicken tonight. Based on the pop and pour, I think this will be quite nice.

Chateau Turcaud 2018, a white blend from Entre Deux Mers. Served with an excellent Coquilles St Jacques and crab brûlée at a local French restaurant. Unfortunately I was driving so only had a small glass, my better half seem to enjoy the remainder!
