I love In-n-out but locally Hubcap in Houston is tops, if you're in town I'm always down for one...

I present "the hangover" with fried egg

I tried In N' Out on my recent trip to the states. Both my wife and I were pretty underwhelmed. Pretty average burger on all accounts to be honest. I get it though that everyone has their own preference.

The best burger I've ever tasted personally, was at the Shangri-La Rasa Ria in Kota Kinabalu. The meat was great, and it was done in a chinese-type bun of which I can't remember the name of right now, that had a slight sweet glaze to it. It was fantastic.

Had a GREAT burger at Bocado in Atlanta yesterday. So simple...two crispy, griddled parties, American cheese and house made pickles. Came with a side of garlic herb fries...I loved it.
Wasn't a place that i have seen on the usual food network shows so we were in an out (no pun) in 30 min.
If I didn't have a flight last night I would have gotten lunch there again!

Surprised it took so long to come. Actually, considering how many people consider "In-N-Out" to be the best burger, I shouldn't really be surprised.

In and around the DC area, I'm a fan of Ray's Hell Burger in Arlington or BGR (several locations in the area). Five Guys is good too (and started right here as well). If you want late night greasy, head to Charlottesville, VA and order a 'Gus Burger' at the White Spot (cheeseburger w/ fried egg on top)... ^

At Ray's, go for the B.I.G POPPA:
