I could, back in college. I might have even been able to keep them down rather than just get them down only to come back up.

I don't get it. It takes him just under 2 minutes to drink them.

That's still pretty impressive... Wouldn't dream of trying it myself.

The original deal was a beer a minute ( 6 beers in 6 minutes)
The frat boi decided to do all six as fast as possible, which took like 2 mins and some change. Needless to say all that foam, carbonation and beer had but one exit.
Looks like they only wasted 'corona' quality beer so no harm/no foul.

Is that a fraternity member who buys a lot of Apple products?

He drank twice as many beers as I have had in my entire life, and I'm 33 years old.

Now if someone wants to go mano a mano with me on Grand Marniers, then I'm game.

Unlikely, given the beer choice. :) Now if he was hammering away 6 cans of Busch Lite then that would be an entirely different story...

I've downed a pint in one go before (Not for a bet, I'd just purchased the thing then realized that the clocks had gone forward and I was running a lot later than I thought. I was thirsty, so just went gulp, gulp, run!).

Other than that one occasion, I'm in the "savour your drinks" camp, so I wouldn't want to try that. I doubt I could do it, really. I weigh less than 100lbs, so can't drink THAT much.

Not hard to do this if one is "shotgunning" with a can of beer.

Keystone Light is also a popular choice, same "category" as Busch... :)

Done my fair share of boat races, so know 6 in 6 is entirely doable (although not by moi!). I don't, and never have, drunk beer, so I was allowed a 'pint of something equal' - which usually ended up as a pint of alcopop! Messy, messy times! At least I resisted the 'yard of alcopop' - 2.5 pints in a go!
