Xylitol works for many, but in a sizable number of folks (like me) it causes GI upset and so I avoid it.

I am another who did not like the aftertaste of Stevia. However, my wife likes to use it in her morning cereal and milk.
She also like Splenda which I find rather blah but I like Aspartame, especially on fruits, while she does not much like that one. Adherence to one or the other of these simply depends on individual taste. Know that it is available, find it, try it, and see if you like it. Otherwise, one will never know. |

On that note several years ago it was not allowed to be with sweeteners, it had to be be in the health supplement aisle of stores, and I tried one of those brands then, whew it was NASTY! I mean it was totally the opposite of sweet, it was BITTER. Maybe I got a bad container but it took me 2 years to be brave enough to try it again after that. the new one are quite suitable, and I have some Diamond Light branded sugar/stevia blend, and the stevia in the raw now, and both quite good (one is sugar blend, one is plain stevia) |
