I understand my local beer seller is tapping KBS at 4:00 pm this afternoon. One 32 oz. growler per customer.

Tried Funky Buddha Cornholio IPA at the Brewery and enjoyed it, Funky Buddha has come a long way and their kitchen is turning out pretty decent grub now too.

Took back to the hotel a Growler of Hop Gun (which I always Enjoy) and my Wife, Brother In-Law (his Wife) and I polished off the next night.

I'm thinking it would be well worth the 8.5 hour drive for me. I wish they would make Cornholio year round and can it.

I am going to Dark Lord Day at Three Floyds tomorrow. Never been.

I know a guy who may have a spare ticket if anyone wants to come last minute.

While in San Diego this week...

Ballast Point Sculpin
Ballast Point Grunion

I'm very much not an IPA person, so I thought they were meh.

Modern Time Black House - what an incredibly smooth and light oatmeal stout ^

Grabbed Sam Adams Rebel Rouser DIPA late last week. It's mediocre for a double IPA but still better than your generic big-label beers. The only mass-distributed Sam Adams beer that I would drink without a second thought is Oktoberfest.

In another 10 days, we will be on the NCL Epic for a week. While I'm excited about the cruise and the following week in BCN, I am less excited about the beer selections on the ship. When we booked, we were offered several freebies and selected the UBP (Ultimate Beverage Package). We will get our money's worth despite the poor selection of beer and wine. Hard to believe they couldn't do a little better than this.

Someone must have hit me on the head today, because in all my wisdom, I thought Blue Moon's "First Peach Ale" sounded like a good choice. Nauseating is being generous. Back to Torpedo.

You're more likely to find 5 people that wanted to try it than one person who wants 5. I'll drink a lot of things once, although not necessarily the whole glass/can/bottle.
