Diners Club Rewards renewal

So...I'm just about at the end of my first year with the Club Rewards program and I thought I remember someone saying you can use some of the points you've accrued in a year to pay for the annual fee. Is that true? If so, how many points does it take to renew without having to pay out of pocket?

In which country is your card issued? If there is more than one Diners Club card in that country, which specific card do you have?

15,000 points is worth a 100$ statement credit. You need a minimum 15,000 points to get cash back.
