Time to transfer Diners points to Air Canada?

Does anyone have any anecdotes on the typical transfer time for Diners points to Air Canada? Just wondering if it is days, weeks, or .?.

Thanks,
BillJ

And then the miles came right after I posted this. So to answer my own question, 3 days.

I was told there is no transfer to Air Canada from Diners.

It depends on where you live.

USA based DC Club Rewards members can transfer to Aeroplan, plus a bunch of other programs that DC cardholders living in Canada do not have access to.

I do not know if it is such a great deal. This is my boyfriend's account and we did it so he could redeem the AC miles for a UA ticket. After we did it, we then learned how much AC adds on in taxes and fees. When we went to empty the rest of his account, we decided to just dump the rest of his DC points into AA.

Diners Club to Air Canada Updates?

Was curious if anyone had any updates on transferring points from a US DC account to Air Canada (Aeroplan)? How long did it take to transfer? Can I transfer from my DC account into my wife's Aeroplan?

According to DC, 1,000 Points = 1,000 Aeroplan Miles which seems like a good deal (including a $0.95 charge per 1000 miles). Does that mean I can purchase 100,000 miles for $95, or can I only redeem the equivalent amount of AP miles relative to the number of DC points in my account (hope that makes sense!)?

Thanks.

No. $95 would be the fee to transfer 100,000 Club Rewards points to Aeroplan, or any other airline frequent flyer program listed here:

https://www.citibank.com/dinersus/js...egory=fc79feb6

You must earn the points by using the card. To earn 100,000 points, spend $100,000 on the card.
