Mine took more than 8 weeks and it took one hell of a lot of work to get what they owed me.

BS all around.
The promotion said the miles would show up in 4-6 weeks. It's been more than 9 weeks now if you use Oct. 31 as the start date. What is so frustrating is that I've now spoken to two agents in corporate customer service. Both of them said that I qualified for the miles and that they would send another note to someone to get the miles to me. Yet, still no miles. I've e-mailed, faxed, and called. This is no small matter to me as I spent more than $1300 and should have almost 120K miles in my account. This was valuable to me because I was able to consolidate all of the unusable miles in my family accounts. I hate to undo these transfers, but I will if I don't see the miles soon (by undo I mean that I will challenge the charges with my credit card company).

My experience

Transfered the miles on the evening of the 31st. Waited, waited and waited some more for the bonus. I was worried as both the date and posted date on Delta.com said it was the 3rd of November. After two emails to Delta, got the bonus posted yesterday. Annoying that the customer has to follow up, in my case twice, but at least I finally got the miles.

Lucky you - I have the same situation with miles bought on 10/31 posted on recipients account on 11/3 and still no bonus miles. I've emailed 5 times - I have pretty much given up on ever seeing these miles.

Finally!

Just received my bonus miles today. I think the only thing that worked for me was calling 404-773-1945. I talked to Anne. She said she was in the Tampa office and was very knowledgeable. Hope this helps.

How long was it between your call and seeing your miles in your account. I've called and ended up with the Tampe office twice. But, still no miles. I was told I qualified and would get the miles. But, this is crazy at this point.

Exactly one week....The emails were totally nonsense. (About 6 in all....)
One said to wait for the travel to post, that the bonus would post after the travel.... And it went downhill from there....
Good luck!

I did finally get my miles and let Delta know that they were in breach of contract for posting my bonus miles more than 8 weeks after they were obligated to do so. They gave me a paltry 3000 miles as a "sorry" and this BS email.

Dear Mr. XXXXXXXXXX,

Thank you for contacting us through delta.com. We are sorry for the
delay in responding to your message.

The terms and conditions of the 'Transfer Miles' program administered by
our SkyMiles partner does state to allow up to seven business days for
the mileage transfer, and I regret the problem this has caused in
reviewing the mileage transfer from SkyMiles account XXXXXXXXX
completed on October 31. This information is posted online at:

https://www.delta.com/skymiles/buy_t...ions/index.jsp

Like many businesses, Delta participates in promotions with our
partners, and these are developed through joint marketing agreements
with our partners. Unfortunately, when promotions and bonuses are not
tracked automatically for some reason, it does take time to review the
circumstances and make any corrections. Our goal is to always to provide
the highest possible standard of service in all areas of our operation,
and I regret that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. As
a goodwill gesture, I have credited your SkyMiles account with 3,000
bonus miles. They may be applied toward the travel award of your choice,
and the adjustment will be noted on a future statement.

We value the relationship you have with Delta Air Lines and would be
delighted to have another chance to restore your trust and confidence in
our service.

Sincerely,

Barbara Allen

Finally

After 6 calls, 2 e-mails, and one fax, I finally received the miles today. Amazingly, I spoke with a customer service rep who actually volunteered to call me back and then did! She said the miles are in your account now and they were. I'm grateful to have the ordeal over with. Good luck to anyone else still waiting.

Took long enough

Finally got my bonus miles today. I too, like many of us transferred miles on Oct 31st, with a posting date of Nov 3rd. Took 3 emails, 2 phone calls and almost 3 months later.

Glad I wasn't waiting on these miles for any sort of trip.

Better late than never.
This was a mess and Delta fumbled the ball when they saw the problem.

I sent an email off to corp after my miles came in.
They gave me an extra 3000 miles... better than nothing.
