Response time for customer service email?

I sent a complaint via delta.com about 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. Is this typical? Should I send in my issue via postal mail?

3 weeks is not typical. Send it again, the response should come within 48 hours. Which would still be faster than postal mail.

I usually get a canned response back in 1-2 days.
If it is serious send a certifed letter to the CEO
(or pick someone else) and also say you never got a response to your contact DL email.
