Will GoGo be onboard?

I've seen the delta blog posts... and read the other threads... but still don't get how you can figure out if your flight is going to have gogo...

i've got a mid day flight JFK:LAS DL Flight 729 (Boeing 737-800)....

knowing if i will have access will be a huge help.... any thoughts?

This is what the blog said last...but don't understand what B737-800: 1A/C means

We’ve adjusted the percentage of completed aircraft as we’ve now consolidated the DL and NW fleets. We’ve now completed 235 of 530 domestic mainline aircraft, which brings us to 44.3% of the fleet.

Fleet Deets:

MD88: 117 A/C
MD90: 16 A/C
B737-800: 1 A/C
B757-200: 100 A/C
B767-300: 1 A/C

Only 1 of DL's 737-800's has wifi. 1 in 71 chance.

If you get an aircraft change, you'll have a much better chance.

Basically, ALL of the MD-88's and MD-90's have wifi. Majority of the 757's have it. Only 1 738 and 1 763 have wifi.

Hope you get an equipment swap to a 757.

It means that there is ONE 738 with WiFi so it is unlikely that you'll be on a 738 with WiFi as DL has 71 737-800s. There is no way (unless you're on an MD) to know if your aircraft will have GoGo.

So all MD-90s have wifi now? That's great news...I have a transcon coming up on one.

FA announced on my recent flight to KOA, that we had Wi-FI. He also told us to save our money as that there is no WI-Fi over the ocean.
